When people dream of food, undoubtedly, it looks, smells, and tastes like the menu at Christoper’s Kitchen, a 100% vegan South Florida institution. It’s a must-visit pilgrimage for any fan of delicious plant-based food. I’ve been there many times, but no matter how many times I visit, I can never get enough. If I had the real estate, I’d eat everything on the menu.
I chose to devour the Avocado Ginger Roll drenched in cashew cheese and the Thai Wrap bursting with mango and almond ginger pate. I haven’t stopped thinking about them since. I ordered healthy, but there are plenty of more indulgent options, including an array of pizzas, nachos, and burgers.
If you’re too far away to visit, it’s at least worth getting mesmerized by the menu. Perhaps imagine yourself eating the Hawaiian BBQ and Jackfruit Pizza. If you’re a glutton for punishment, check out the dessert menu. I marvel at how the CK chefs do so much with such simple ingredients. CK reminds every patron of the rich flavors that exist in fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, and beans. Every dish is a mosaic of nature’s colors, and every bite is satisfying. The CK team takes pride in their presentation, and the service is impeccable.
As if the lunch and dinner menu aren’t enough, the restaurant also offers a juice bar and a wine room. You can dine inside or outside–but it won’t matter if you eat in the bathroom. This food is spectacular. Two thumbs way the heck up for this gem of a restaurant that shows people the potential of real food. It’s a plant-based Neverland.
love this Andrew !!! Happy Summer
