Little Choc Apothecary, a fully vegan and gluten-free restaurant in Brooklyn, specializes in crepes, health, and compassion. The completely plant-based menu is also free of chemical binders, artificial flavors, and gums. They source their ingredients locally whenever possible, and you won’t need to hire a private investigator to understand their ingredient lists.
I dug into a Savory Crepe Burrito filled with avocado, coconut bacon, black beans, homemade chipotle hot sauce, and homemade cashew cheese. It looked delicious, but it tasted even better. This is no ordinary burrito. It’s a crepe burrito. It’s fluffy. It’s filling. It’s tasty. It’s amazing.
This place is super adorable, unique, and cozy, the people are friendly, and the food is spectacular. Every dish is a work of art. I felt guilty cutting into my food like I was ruining a child’s painting. I went with a bunch of work friends–and everybody loved their dishes too. If you’re a glutton for punishment, check out these photos (scroll down on the left after clicking). The crepe options are a mind-bender.
In addition to crepes, Little Choc Apothecary offers a range of smoothies, juices, bowls, and medicinal tea blends. Most importantly, they offer the opportunity to eat peacefully. Love this place.
