Donald Trump listed the White House for sale on Zillow on Sunday morning. The ad reads, “The best president lived here. Fantastic gold drapes, but the bathrooms are a disgrace. Good location near Trump International Hotel and only 200 miles from Trump National Golf Club Bedminster. Not Mara Lago, but soon-to-be previous home of your favorite president. Kid Rock was here. Helicopter not included. $600 million cash. All proceeds go to the Donald J. Trump Foundation.”
If the house sells before January 2020, Trump said he will move White House operations to Trump National Doral in Miami, “a fantastic location near what some people say is the best CVS anyone has ever seen and with probably the best amenities in history, including unlimited towels.” He added, “No, it’s true. Everyone is talking about it.”
When asked by reporters if selling the White House for personal financial gain would constitute a crime and whether the house should be passed on to the next president as has been the case the past few hundred years, White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney said, “I have news for you. We sell government property and pocket the money all the time. The American people need to get over it.”
The Washington, D.C. property appraiser’s office records indicate the house is currently owned by Russia.
