Banana Ice Cream with Chia Sprinkles

Ingredients
5 bananas, frozen
1 tablespoon chia seeds

Kitchen Equipment: Vitamix, or blender/food processor
Prep Time: 10 m
Blend: 10 min
Ready In: 10 m
Serves: 2

Directions
1. In a Vitamix, simply blend the frozen bananas until they reach ice cream consistency.

2. In a blender or food processor, blend the bananas until they flake. Once they flake, open the food processor or blender and push the banana flakes to the bottom. Repeat process until the bananas start to gel and form an ice cream consistency. It may take repacking the flakes together 4-5 times before they catch the blades and turn into ice cream. The ice cream pictured below was made in a Ninja blender (not a Vitamix).

3. Add chia seeds. The final product will taste like homemade vanilla ice cream with colored sprinkles.
