Tell Dunkin’ Donuts To Stop Supporting Animal Abuse And Start Offering Vegan Donuts

Our friends at Compassion Over Killing (COK) uncovered horrific abuse at Michael Foods, the egg supplier for Dunkin’ Donuts. Despite repeated requests to Dunkin’ Donuts to offer vegan donuts, the company has refused to take steps to offer cruelty-free food for its customers.

I called Dunkin’ Brands, the parent company of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins (Ironically, Baskin-Robbins was founded by Irvine Robbins, the father of John Robbins, author of The Food Revolution) and expressed my opposition to their egg supplier and requested vegan donuts. The Customer Service Representative registered my complaint and suggestion and informed me that they have been “receiving a lot of calls for vegan donuts.” She also stated that the company is “considering moving to cage-free eggs.” I educated her about the cage-free myth and provided examples of just a few of the other food chains and grocery stores providing vegan donuts. Let’s continue to put pressure on the company to make the transition.

Please call Dunkin’ Donuts at 1-800-859-5339 or send a polite email to customer service asking them to offer food that does not require the confinement, abuse, and killing of animals. Thank you for your support.

  1. I sent an email to them. My one email may not help much but if enough people continue to contact them at some point it will start to make a difference.
